Do I need to pay for your services? top

No, all the services provided by Intro Recruitment are free to all candidates.

What do I need to bring with me when I register? top

You will need to bring you latest C.V. and your passport. Please call our us if you have no passport. You will also need to bring the names and address's of two referees. Our clients often ask about candidates personal presentation, we would ask that you dress smartly and appropriately for the position you are applying for.

What are your opening hours? top

Our offices are open Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 5:30pm (Late night Wednesday until 7:00pm) On Friday's our offices close at 5:00pm.

Do I need to sit at test at Registration? top

We will make an assessment of your current computer skills at registration to make sure that you are matched to appropriate vacancies for your skills. The registration process normally takes an hour or so.

What Type of companies use Intro's services? top

We specialise in Office, Industrial, Sales, Customer Service and Call Centre Staff. We have developed strong associations with many types of companies from small independents to large blue chip organisations.

How long will it take to get a job? top

It is impossible to state specific timescales as so much depends on the marketplace, location, salary, company etc. But be assured, that our aim is to find you work as fast as possible.

What type of training is offered? top

We offer computer skills training. We can provide you with full training or just a short course to sharpen your skills in the most widely used computer packages. The training can take place to suit your schedule from just a couple of hours to a full day.

What is your payment proceedure? top

Once you have provided us with your bank or building society account details we will then transfer your pay directly into your account by BACS. Once we receive your completed timesheet, by 11:00am on the Monday following the week you worked, your payslip will be sent to you on the Wednesday and your pay will be in your account by the Friday following the week worked.
All temps are entitled to 4 weeks annual holiday pay. You will be paid the week after you have taken your holiday and the amount is based on previous pay periods. Holiday Request forms are available from our branch or by clicking here.
If you are temping with Intro our payroll Department will be more than happy to explain your tax and NI deductions. To save you time please have your payslip handy when phoning.

Will I be taxed if I am a student? top

No - provided you complete and return to us a Student Declaration Form (P38s).

Are there any restrictions on where I can work if I am not a British Citizen? top

Yes. Two year visitors visas are not usually accepted by companies looking to recruit permanent placements. The rules vary depending on your nationality and your desired location. Feel free to speak to one of our consultants for more specific advice.

How confidential are your services? top

Completely. We will never disclose your details to anybody without your express permission first.

Will you call me at work? top

Nowadays we are able to rely on text messaging and email rather than phone calls. Only if it is absolutely necessary and we have your approval to do so, will we call. We will always be very discrete and will not leave messages with names or numbers.

How can I best research for interviews? top

Before an interview, your consultant will supply you with all the company information available to them, as well as job descriptions and location details. Company web sites are a good source of information. Also click here to take a look at our Interview Tips.

How should I lay out my CV? top

Make it clear and concise, two pages is a good length. Do not waffle, use good spacing, a clear font and typesize and check it for mistakes before submitting it! It is your c.v. and should accurately reflect your achievements. It is important that you include your current salary details, location requirements and a clear description of what your employer does, if it is not obvious. We ensure that all applications get a reply in writing within 48 hours of receipt. Further communication will be done by telephone as soon as possible after this time.
