Description

Our client is the UK's largest European road freight network. They provide a full coverage of Import & Export services across the UK & aboard. They are currently expanding their coverage and are looking for an Operator/Administrator to work in their Poole office.

The company offers:

£17,000 depending on experience
Ongoing training and career progression
20 days holiday

As the successful applicant the role will include:

Efficiently processing bookings from clients and overseas agents on to the system
Provide operational support for the Freight Account Managers when required
Liaising with all relevant parties throughout the shipment to organise the movement of goods
Dealing with any issues that may arise during a shipment and ensure the client and/or Freight Account Manager is updated
Processing sales and purchase invoices of the branch
Provide operational support for the Freight Account Managers when required

Essential skills/strengths:

An excellent telephone manner
Organisational skills
Be a team player
Ability to handle queries to a high standard
Ability to work on own initiative
Competent PC user
High level of accuracy
Previous Administration experience an advantage
